Beta program & status
Veridyn is currently in open beta. That means every feature is available for free — your own logo and branding, multilingual passports, a printable QR, version tracking, a developer API and analytics — up to 100 model passports, with no per-account time limit. In return, we are honest about what is ready and what we are still building.
What the beta means
- Free, full access — 100 model passports, plus an ample allowance beneath them: 1,000 batch and 10,000 item passports. Nothing held back.
- Under active development — that is why you will occasionally see draft (placeholder) content.
- Your feedback shapes the product — we build further around what beta members need.
- Founder status — whoever joins during the beta receives a lasting discount on their plan once the beta ends.
Status — what is live, what is coming
- Live Schema-driven product passports (textile, battery, furniture), 24 EU languages, a public QR, version tracking, layered access and sharing tokens, document attachments, a developer API, scan analytics, bulk import, and registry-ready data fields (GTIN, commodity code).
- In progress Finalising the legal schedules (DPA / SLA / AUP), completing certain company details, and additional category schemas.
- Blocked on the EU side The battery semantic validation in the EU’s official DPP Registry. The EU is rolling out the semantic catalogue and data model only gradually, towards the 18 February 2027 mandatory battery-passport date; until then the registry allows this validation for no one — this is not on us. Veridyn already builds on the registry-ready data structure, so the day it goes live is, for us, just a switch.
Why you occasionally see draft data
On the legal pages (Terms, Privacy Notice, Imprint) some company and legal fields are still to be completed — we will finalise these before general availability, with expert review. During the beta the Beta Terms apply; they set out availability (best-effort, beta), data retention and the end-of-beta transition.
What happens when the beta ends
The beta currently has no announced end date. When it approaches, we will let you know in good time — by email and on this page.
- Your public passports and QR codes stay live forever — after the beta, on the free plan too. A QR you have already printed never breaks.
- We delete nothing. You get a grace period to choose a plan at your own pace.
- At the end of the beta you have as many passports as you have — you move to the matching plan, with your founder discount.
