Scan test
These are real, working QR codes pointing at the public demo passports. Scan them with your phone straight from the screen — exactly what would happen with a label in a shop. No sign-up needed.
1Open your phone camera — most devices recognise a QR code without a separate app.
2Hold it over the code. The link looks like veridyn.eu/01/… — that is the GS1 Digital Link standard.
3The passport opens in the language your phone asks for — no app, no registration.

The same model, a made-up serial

What to look at after scanning
- The language. The passport is available in 24 EU languages; you can switch in the header.
- The individual unit. On the serialised code the model → unit chain is shown at the top of the page.
- The made-up serial. Scan the amber code too: the same product, but we do not know the serial — the page says so and shows the model data.
- The machine-readable data. At the bottom of the page: JSON-LD and, for batteries, the official JTC24 format.
- Layered access. What you see here is the PUBLIC tier — an authority sees more fields.
